For too many workers, unpredictable and unstable schedules are becoming the norm.

Especially in lower-wage jobs, many workers receive their schedules at the last minute, have little input into their schedules, and experience fluctuating schedules (and paychecks) from week-to-week. Many are juggling the demands of their jobs while also caring for families, working in second jobs, and going to school.

In response to these challenges, a growing movement has mobilized to establish fair scheduling labor standards through legislation, voluntary employer practice changes, and collective bargaining.
